He is still in rehab, meaning that he's training his leg to be able to work again. He can move it around but just barely for a short amount of time. He likely wants to train it back up to the point he can use it again. Getting a prosthetic means cutting it off.

So we now know who the person who corrupted the scientist guy was. It truly is confusing, on bright side, Ao pumped Boruto up, on down side, next time they meet Boruto will likely be devastated.

I knew it! Mr. Ao was dirty, he using his pain from being injured as a way to get revenge. Well, I'm not sure what Kara motive is and the reason for causing so much disrupt. I guess his story will be revealed, now we understand why he hasn't returned home, he doesn't want that happy feeling to interfere with his grief or anger.
